Ebrahim S. Delpassand MD chief executive officer and medical director of Excel is a Board Certified physician in Nuclear Medicine and Clinical and Anatomical Pathology.
He is the former deputy chairman, associate professor, and chief of Clinical Nuclear Medicine at the department of Nuclear Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has established track records and extensive experience in the area of therapeutic nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology monoclonal antibody imaging, lymphoscintigraphy in breast cancer, and Positron Emission Tomography (PET).

Azar I. Delpassand RN and President of Excel Diagnostic Imaging Clinics
has more than 15 years of experience in the health care administration. She is the former CEO and president of Infinity Infusion care, Inc. During her tenure, Infinity Infusion became a sample home health and Infusion agency selected by Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organizations ( JCAHO). Her company was also among the top 50 women owned companies in the state of Texas.

Saween Thompson MD
Director of Diagnostic Radiology

Saween Thompson MD Director of Diagnostic Radiology,
Dr. Thompson is a graduate of Stanford University and Baylor College of Medicine. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a former Assistant Professor of Body Imaging with the Department of Radiology at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston / Hermann Hospital, where she was in charge of training radiology residents. Dr. Thompson is a published author in radiology, including a well respected textbook. Dr. Thompson specializes in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound.

Mike Sanaty
Director of Public Relation and Business Development

Mike Sanaty currently holds the position of Director of Public Relation at Excel Diagnostics Imaging Clinics. His focus is business development, patient and referring physician satisfaction and organizing community awareness, and educational events as it relates to the value of diagnostic medical imaging.

Waheeda Sureshbabu CNMT
Nuclear Medicine/ PET Manager

Waheeda Sureshbabu brings 7 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine/PET imaging. Prior to joining Excel, she worked with MD Anderson Cancer Center. Waheeda graduated with a BS in Radiologic Science from Midwestern University and is currently working on her MBA from Texas Woman’s University.

Saul Cruz
Director of Billing/Collection & Scheduling Services

Saul Cruz has been with the Excel Team for 5 years and joined when it was under the name Nuclear Imaging of Texas. His experience ranges from coding, billing and implementation of revenue cycle management. He currently manages the billing, collections, insurance verification, manage care contracting and scheduling services.

Al Lalani
Manager Accounting

Al Lalani brings 15 years of diversified work and business experience. He has a BS degree in Healthcare management from the San Jose State University of California; he also has a certification in Health Information management. Currently he oversees receivables and bank deposits, bank drafts, electronic fund transfers, journal entries, manages payroll, manages part human resources, and accounts payable and monthly reporting of accounting information to CEO and President of the company. Al joined the Excel Diagnostic Imaging Clinic family in May of 2005.
